Who says Americans are not intellectual? The blogosphere is virtually entirely virtual and intensely ideological, Yet it is rare to come across an interesting discussion like this one on Cars, Parks, and Car Parks which raises in 3-dimensional form the very same issues of power, authority, the individual, the group, how we form our societies etc. etc.
