And that tagline would better read: "Card-carrying Member of the Reality-Based Community and the Sensible-Shoes Bourgeoisie"

An excellent tagline it is, and well deserved, but I'd still be cautious about taking compliments from someone who put live theatre and cinema in the same basket too much to heart.

Yes, I was curious about ACD's post on that, too. I don't follow either movies or theater very much, really. And the movies I watch are often-as-not on an old (20 years +) 19" TV, which subtly-changes the viewing to make yet another sort of experience. So I was puzzled by that post of his.

But of course this is the fellow who --subtle though his judgmens may be in other areas -- cannot seem to grasp the enormous significance between architecture and site-plan and who thinks that concern for the total experience of visiting a concert-hall (to include the parking garage, for instance) is "sensible-shoes bourgeois." LOL.

So go figure.
